Summer is heating up and so are our weddings! June is beautiful at Wilderness Ridge; the flowers are in full bloom, the grass is green, and the ponds are a crisp blue. Before we move into July, let’s look back at our June 2016 ceremonies and receptions.

Nick & Britney Molacek {06.03.16} Nick and Britney celebrated their nuptials with their closest family and friends. Following their off-site ceremony, the bridal party traveled to Wilderness Ridge for a photo session with Mae Small. Once inside, they feasted on our roasted pork loin with a pineapple teriyaki sauce. During the dance, guests also snacked on popcorn and personalized M&Ms. [Mae Small Photography]

Nick & Kacie Ruggio {06.04.16} Nick and Kacie utilized the entire building for their reception. Guests took pictures with a life-sized cardboard cutout of the couple before entering the restaurant for cocktail hour. Then, they traveled to the ballroom for dinner and dancing. Later in the evening, wedding-goers snacked on sliders and French fries before calling it a night. [Elayne Woods Photography]

Chad & Brittney Stiefel {06.11.16} Chad and Brittney had the perfect summer day for a wedding. The groomsmen enjoyed a round of golf in the morning before cleaning up for pictures. Once the entire bridal party was on-site, it was time to say ‘I Do’ on the Wedding Island. After their romantic ceremony, the bride and groom dismissed their guests row by row before boarding their limousine.

Eric & Caitlin Marrow {06.11.16} Eric and Caitlin were ‘mint’ to be! After their off-site ceremony, guests enjoyed appetizers on the Yellowstone patio. Dinner consisted of pan-seared salmon and roasted pork loin paired with a glass of cabernet or sauvignon blanc. To freshen up, guests were gifted a jar of mints. Then, they hit the dancefloor with tunes provided by Wax Robot. [Wax Robot Photography]

Travis & Lindsey Dresden {06.17.16} Travis and Lindsey had an intimate wedding reception in the Bitterroot room. Wedding-goers took pictures in front of a tulle backdrop with fun and goofy props, and dined on our delectable herb and garlic-marinated chicken with creamy cordon bleu sauce. Following dinner, the kids spent the evening playing games on the Wii. They were the life of the party!

Chance & Amanda Martinez {06.18.16} Chance and Amanda held their ceremony in the ballroom. The bride walked down the aisle with accompaniment from Harris Academy of the Arts. After the ceremony, wedding guests were dismissed to the patio while the bridal party departed to take pictures. To end the evening, party-goers munched on our late-night nacho station. Whiskey barrels were used for the guest book table and altar, and the sprawling elm tree was wrapped with twine and pictures. Once inside, guests assisted the couple by filling out cards for “Create a Date” and “Name our Kids.” After dinner, a slideshow detailed their love story and they played the “Shoe Game.” [Emily Hardy Photography]

Adam & Holly Holle {06.24.16} Adam and Holly held their nuptials on the Wedding Island. The two said ‘I Do’ with a little help from Harris Academy of the Arts. Blooms and Bouquets provided trumpet vases filled with flowers that were placed on either side of the aisle. Tim & Jaime Scheel {06.25.16} Tim and Jaime spent the day at Wilderness Ridge. The bridal party snacked on chips & dips, and pizza & wings while gearing up for the big day. Spencer & Samantha McAtee {06.25.16} Spencer and Samantha had a romantic ceremony on the Wedding Island. A pianist and violinist accompanied the bridal party as they walked down the aisle and a beautiful arbor stood as the backdrop for the vows, adding further to the natural beauty of the Island. Following the ceremony, the bridal party loaded onto a party bus and headed for the reception. [Craig Zimmerman Photography]

Kyle & Annie Smith {06.26.16} Kyle and Annie joined their families with a ceremony on the Island. They held a meaningful unity tree ceremony, which included the mixing of soil that will eventually be transferred into the ground at their new residence.
