Wilderness Ridge is currently hiring for the position of Assistant Banquet Manager. Assistant Banquet Manager oversees banquet functions and provides leadership and direction to banquet staff in accordance to company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Works directly with Sales Managers, Banquet Manager, and Banquet Chef on preparation for upcoming events
  • Supervise banquet staff during setup, execution, and cleanup of banquet events
  • Communicate with client throughout the event to ensure all requests are met and to anticipate any additional needs
  • Completing BEOs and reconciling cash drawers at conclusion of event
  • Able to perform the duties, when needed, of Banquet Server, Banquet Bartender, Private Dining Server, and Banquet Houseman
  • Train and develop banquet staff
  • Must have open availability and able to work night, weekends, and holidays.
  • Candidates can expect to work 40+ hours a week between a variety of shifts including early mornings and late evenings
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to preform independently in a fast paced always changing environment
  • Must be attentive to details
  • Basic knowledge of audio visual equipment
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a banquet/catering service setting
